btw i reached school at 8am today.
apparently there was this accident - a trailer hit a minivan (school van), and so the whole of 6th avenue was erm blocked?
I was sleeping in the bus with my friend and we slept slept slept until 7+ lol... then we realised we were in the same place...
then we decided to walk to school via Namly avenue..
darn cool
i just hope no one is injured, including my clean record card =p (see if you get what i mean)

After this first Independent Learning Project module for Economics...
I think we should really stop all this last minute thing.
apart from the typical hwa chong culture, last minute work I daresay is an innate part of every student who goes through 4 years of hwa chong. and this is very time consuming and physically tiring.
I have to stop all this crap, procrastination leads to nowhere.
while you are rushing... it becomes More Haste Less Speed
speaking of which I am just talking, I need some change, fast.
This is taking away my youth.... bit by bit

my grandma just came back from a temple
my father and i fetched her to the temple
the temple is in Serangoon
we took more than one hour to reach there as there was a huge traffic jam, sweet...
and we took 20 minutes to come back
aniwaes
the temple looked like a temple
and had many monks
then there was this guy who wore a nice funny cap, with protruding flaps
the cap made the guy look like some heavenly god from stories my grandma told
the heavenly god is called Bao Gong
he muttered alot of random words
and familiar phrases that I used to hear in CNY
and somehow all my family members (paternal side) will be very lucky this year
except me and my cousin (same age), and i asked my father why
my father replied in a kind tone, that the Bao Gong is predicting our luck based on our chinese zodiac
that zodiac thing is the story of the animals, and the rat came first
this year is also the year of the rat
and I am a goat
and somehow goat don't like rats
so this year me and my cousin are "unlucky"
so we got this hongbao containing a talisman
and we were supposed to burn it, put in water and drink up
well
my Gp tutor just told me that my expression sux, and seemed to be asking me to redo my basics
I hoped that helped
ahahaha
anyways.. i did burn it
i did drink up the burnt talisman
but i only drank up some of it
mmmm believes
I shall just belief in it... even though what can a couple of Carbon atoms do to your luck?
maybe I shall just need more luck this year =)

well... if some of you might know.. its actually my MSN dp - but of course edited!
it came about when
1) i decided to feed my hungry stomach
2) mathematics became too boring
3) my hand and mouth was itchy
4) the box of treats was just 10m away
so i just took it out, put into that little saucer, and eat on my mathematics homework (I hope I added taste to homework with the crumbs! << ._.)
then it looked rather nice.. so i just put my pen there and took a piccy! =)
voila!!
haha... anyways.. yea i just love that treat

Chinese New Year - Mug style

okay, you read that...
so couldn't go to the movies with the rest: Zhao Bo, Jeremy, Charles, Leying, Jia Wen, Aileen and Kwang Yueh!
so I walked back to MRT with Edwin, 走进二人世界 - ok that sounds WRONG !!! haha
anyways.. went home to
Clear my Room
Wash my clothes that I wore today (my school pants and ARES shirt > apparently as punishment for going out during New Year's Eve)
Bath
Prepare go for tuan yuan!
anyways.... all these rules... of only they were true, what if we change them a bit?
1. Stay up late at night - Parents would live longer and better
[ Stay up late at night mugging - Marks would be bigger and better ]
2. Give hongbao money in multiples of 2 - Good things are given in twos
[ Give results slips with even marks - Good marks will be given ]
3. Wear red - Auspicious Number
[ Wear red - Good grades come in red ]
4. Do not wear black - inauspicious
[ Do not wear green - Signs of corrections = no good ]
5. Have tuan yuan fan - Sign of family bonding and togetherness
[ Have dinner with scripts showing great results - Good results with be "together with you" ]
6. Never sweep the floor - sweeping away good luck
[ Never sweep your room of books - sweeping away your knowledge ]
ok .. a bit lame haha..but blerh
an added twist to CNY !!!

Would you like a teacher like this?
so cool...
imagine.. you are in a middle of a very boring tutorial, you decide to go out for a drink or a snack, and you just walk out of the class. you subconsciously eye the teacher expectantly, waiting for that green light "to go to the loo". but to your HORROR, you get NOTHING, and you just walk out of the classroom, < a bit panicky, your heart trembling, your palms sweating, seriously wondering why she didnt make a sound... >
ok... now just take whatever inside the "< >", and change into "you just walk out of the classroom, just like any other day. you are now free to go to Fishtank, go to canteen or even class bench".
yep, that happened in my SENIOR class MATHS tutorial!
HOW COOL IS THAT???
haha, during their mathematics tutorial, they are allowed free entry and exit passes, without the tutor (teacher) feeling bothered at all! that's COOL! and you are even allowed to eat in the classroom, even if you are munching on a sandwich and you are sitting at the first row.
you know how cool is that?
oh yes.. you may be wondering how I know that?
because I went into the Senior Class Mathematics Tutorial, with Edwin, and took on the name of Hong Shen (another senior who left for a pretty long time for god-know-what)
Teacher : May I know the 2 new students that I have in my class?
*All eyes on me and Edwin*
Edwin : Oh we are just here to get something.
*Scamper into a seat*
Teacher : Oh ok. Ok, let's continue with question 8....

Tired
wow, I think the new in thing is "tiredness"
it seems that, with increasing tiredness, the less time you might seem to have, and vice versa.
It applies for me nowadays, especially for this WHOLE week. Oh gosh, I am always sleeping at 10+, 11pm+, not because I cannot tahan, but it is my body is shouting and calling me to drag myself to the bed, which I would then fall into deep sleep within seconds of my "demise". Take note that last time, I use to sleep at 12+, which effectively means an extra hour to complete work.
But now, no more.
In addition, I am facing this dilemma. If I decide to focus into my science projects, I fear that I might have to forgo quite a number of OCIPs or Outdoor Trips, especially when they clash during the holidays. I want to complete NYAA too, but NYAA cannot be completed without focusing on CIP and Adventurous Journey sections, so ohnoz! Help!
This is worst than expected, although in some ways I find it good. Haha. Junior College is seriously brimming of opportunities, but the way I screwed up my Secondary School life, I think it would be a challenge. But hmmmm, never mind I will try! TRY!
Anyways, 黄城 is getting "busier and busier". At least the busy ones are during the weekends, and it clashes with my SOT! WTH .. wa lau why like this?
ok heck, I'll just shift my tuition time slots to the weekdays.
OH kay. GG liao, I left with 1 hour to do my Independent Learning Project before I will go to school to "submit" my work to my team leader, and one more thing, I have yet to submit my own papers to DSTA for the scholarship. (They want me to send them stuff about ME) DIE!
