Wasting of Time

Define wasting of time.

Normally one is wasting time when you realise that whatever you have been doing is inherently of no value to yourself. If you help others, but do not feel gratitude or some form of satisfaction from it, it is also wasting your time. Why use your own time when you gain nothing out of it?

So essentially, I am not wasting my time now, since I am deriving excitement from the games I play, enjoyment from going out with my friends, and happiness spending time together. But if you look from the practical approach, I should be spending my time studying and researching now, not doing all these.

So what is wasting time? I think I just confused you, and even myself. I just took a big circle, a big round the bush.

And how about traveling for 1 hour, just to do nothing literally constructive? I really do not know.
