Teacher's Day!
teacher's day today
haha
I watched the funniest made-by-teachers skit in my entire education life till now.
seriously
spastic, and quite interesting too!
(of course teachers will nonetheless try to imbue some "moral of the story" or "ιη§ηεΎ" in their skit)
and there's this teacher who half stripped, and threw sweets, and even sprayed water at us , really funny
and of course, went back to High School with my 4I classmates. Just a stone's throw away :P
the teachers there still remember us!! And to quote Mrs Giam, "I still miss you guys".
:D
haha really made my day
somehow I got to appreciate my High School teachers better, mmmm wonder why.. ?
and after that... :D

lol
hitler is famous
ok he already is
but then this makes him good for spoof material?
it was shown during econs lecture, really funny. ok only Singaporeans will understand.
Hitler and ERP
apparently, that's not all. it seems this is only part of the various spoofs that have been created on Youtube! Here's more!
Someone stole Hitler's Car
Hitler and Vista
(This is really good, because it is not some mindless subtitles, but rather certain words can be "heard" in the video as well!)

One of Singapore's Core Value:
We must be a gracious society.
At least don't do that in the Olympics, k thanks!

Singapore still has a long way to go...

Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony
The Chinese Olympic Opening Ceremony was a bang, and was very interesting to watch too
Maybe its due to my super zai analytical mind, I kept thinking of the various motives behind each segment of the ceremony
Here's my conclusion:
1. China wants to tell the world not to mess with them, that they got immense human capital which can coordinate in whatever massive scale events they are in - look at the superb synchronization they showed in the various acts.
2. China wants to tell the world they got the technology, that they have super high definition projectors that can simultaneously screen the various images on the "bird nest" ceiling, and that they have a screen on the floor with super sharp quality
3. China wants to show the world the chinese culture: male dominance - do you realise most of the acts consists of ONLY males, and they only included females when they showed males playing the "dominant" role? They also showed that their people can fly and reach for the skies, especially when they got "faeries" floating around, and the gymnast (4got the name) floating around the "Bird Nest" for the final leg of the torch relay.
4. China wants to tell the world, they got them surrounded. During the countries segment, you can see the countries' teams all gathering into "pockets" that have Chinese as human wall. You look from above (via TV) it might seems as if China has the whole world surrounded
5. China wants to tell the world they are freaking rich. Look at the dazzling fireworks they showcased, and the various technologies they put in.
6. China wants to tell the world, they are extremely diplomatic. "Unheard of" countries even appeared, if I am not wrong all the African nations were invited.
Overall, I would like to commend China for their wonderful performance they put up, albeit the various messages they might be sending.
Spain, watch out, and get your brains cracking, because the bar has just been raised to the limit.
Disclaimer: I am not trying to spite China or anything, but those are my analysis of their performance.
